What is the difference between 'Roasted' and 'Dry Roasted' nuts?
- 'Roasted' means that our nuts have been roasted in oil. At Royal Nut Company, we only use golden canola oil to produce the highest quality roasted nuts.
- 'Dry Roasted' nuts are roasted in our state-of-the-art oven roaster. No oils are added in this process.
Raw nuts and seeds are best stored in the freezer for freshness and longevity. Does this apply to roasted nuts (oil roasted and dry roasted)?
The best way to store nuts is in the refrigerator or freezer in air-tight containers or zip-lock bags. Nuts do not freeze, and you can portion them to the required quantities. You can store them for up to 12 months in this manner. You will find that they remain as fresh and crunchy as on the day you bought them! Just make sure to bring them back to room temperature before serving.
Why are Australian products more expensive than those from overseas ?
This is due to the fact that Australia is a high-cost country, and that the agricultural industry is a labour-intensive one.
