Natural Cocoa Powder
Experience the flavor-depth of our natural cocoa powder! Low-fat and full of healthy goodness, cocoa powder is produced when chocolate liquor is pressed to remove most of its cocoa butter. The remaining solids are then processed to make our fine, unsweetened cocoa powder. Light brown in color with a strong bitter undertone, it enhances hot drinks and baked goods by imparting a deep chocolate flavor with dense, earthy notes. Especially good in brownies and cakes. Note: As a general rule of thumb, natural cocoa powder needs baking soda to react whereas alkalised/Dutched cocoa requires baking powder.
